Chester glanced at him. 'Yeah...?'

"I... I don't think they will approve." Jayden mumbled, giving Chester a very apologetic look. "I'm sorry."

Chester smiled softly. 'That's fine, love. It's not your fault. He pulled out a few outfits from his closet, folded them neatly and put them in his suitcase.

"You're... You're not upset?" Jayden figured he'd be upset, but he didn't seem to care much.

'I kind of anticipated it. If your brother's such a piece of s---, it would make sense if your parents are too.' Chester paused. 'Unless that's insensitive. Sorry.'

Jayd shook his head. "It's fine."

Chester sat down next to him and wrapped an arm around him.

Jayden blushed before leaning into him.

Chester smiled, holding him close. ‘I have you, Celeste. It doesn’t matter what your family thinks.’

Jayd nodded before giving Chester a weak smile. “I guess.”

Chester kissed the top of his head. ‘You guess?’

“Well, I still wanted them to approve of you…” Jayden mumbled.

'Me too, love.' Chester's wing wrapped around him.

Jayd leaned into him more, sighing.
