Jayden didn't answer, just sighing into Chester's shirt, hugging him tight.

Chester's wings wrapped around him. 'Do you want to end the interview?' he whispered in his ear.

Jayden shrugged. "Sure." He said quietly.

Chester pulled away slightly to speak into the microphone. 'That's all for today, folks.'

There were a couple groans and overlapping chatter from the reporters.

Chester grabbed Jayden's hand. 'Let's go,' he murmured, and started leading him back up the stairs.

Jayd gave a small nod, walking up the stairs behind him.

Chester led him into the castle and shut the doors behind them. 'So, why didn't you tell me?'

"He- the law- I... I don't know." Jayden said quietly, leaning into Chester slightly.

Chester smiled softly, wrapping his arms and wings around him again.

Jayd didn't smile back, wrapping his arms around Chester.

'Are you alright?' Chester murmured, gently rubbing his back.

Jayden didn't answer for a moment before shaking his head slowly.

Chester kissed the top of his head. 'You wanna talk about it?'

Jayd looked up at Chester. "Do I have to?" He mumbled.
