Jayden chuckled. "Why?"

‘I was thinking of a few pranks I could do with it,’ Maeve said.

"Oh god no." Jayd laughed.

Chester cleared his throat. ‘Um, did I miss something?’

"Your sister is a maniac." Jayden answered.

‘Yeah, I kinda got that,’ Chester said.

Maeve nodded, giggling.

‘Must’ve got it from me,’ Chester added, rolling his eyes. ‘Because it definitely wasn’t mum or dad.’

"Obviously she got it from you." Jayd laughed.

‘One hundred percent,’ Chester said, nodding with a small laugh. Maeve rolled her eyes.
‘Y’know, you used to play pranks with me,’ she grumbled. -
Jayden chuckled, looking over at Chester.

Chester didn’t hide his annoyance well. ‘I was 16 Maeve, give me a break,’ he huffed.

Maeve exhaled sharply before turning back to her food. Jayden's gaze switched between the two of them every once in a while.

Chester also turned his attention back to his meal. He stared at his pork chops like they were the most interesting things in the world.

Jayd ate his food as well, not enjoying the awkward silence.
