"Do it or I'll have to blackmail you." Maeve chuckled.
Jayden just shrugged. "Eh, I'd rather not." He laughed. -
‘Alright, do your worst, Maeve,’ Chester chuckled.

Maeve thought about that for a minute. "It's... It's not worth it if he doesn't react! Then it's not blackmail!"

Chester raised an eyebrow. ‘Interesting.’

Jayd smirked. "I'm unblackmailable!" He said, making the word up on the spot.

‘Exactly. But that’s not a word, love.’

"Shush, it's a word now." Jayden laughed.

Chester rolled his eyes.

Maeve just watched the two of them bicker with a smug smile, though what she was smug about not even she knew.

‘What are you smiling about?’ Chester laughed.

"You two." Maeve chuckled.

Chester chuckled. ‘Right.’

Patton showed up with their lunch- Salmon. Jayden wasn't the biggest fan of salmon, but it looked good and he trusted Patton, so he took his plate.

Chester grabbed some cutlery for him and Jayden.
