"What are you doing, darling?" Beatrice asked.
Jayden nodded. "What's the color of the grass?" -
'Trimming the thorns off a rose.'
'G-Green.' -
"Why?"
Jayden gave a small nod. "Are you feeling any better?" -
'So I can give it to you and you don't prick your fingers.'
Maeve exhaled shakily, slumping against the tree. 'A little.' -
Beatrice chuckled. "Alright then." She shrugged.
Jayden wrapped an arm around her gently. -
Chester continued cutting off the thorns.
Maeve let him, head leaning back against the tree. -
Beatrice froze his arms for a second or two, and then unfroze them with a giggle.

Chester laughed and rolled his eyes, continuing to cut off the thorns when she unfroze his arms.

Beatrice kept freezing and unfreezing him, to try and annoy him.

‘Stop, I’m gonna mess up and cut myself!’ Chester laughed.

Beatrice huffed, though she was smiling.

Chester eventually finished and handed her the rose.

Beatrice took it with a small smile. "Can we go do something fun now?"

‘Well, what do you have in mind?’

"I have a few ideas~" Beatrice smiled, taking his hand and walking off. The dream changed once again.
