'Yeah. Just tired,' Chester mumbled.

"Okay." Jayden nestled closer, pulling the blanket over the two of them.

Chester hugged him close, closing his eyes

Jayden closed his as well. "G'night, darling."

'Goodnight, my love.'

Jayd smiled.

The next morning, Chester was having the Beatrice nightmare/flashbacks. He clung to Jayden as he slept.
Maeve's special powers just so happened to be out of control. She found herself in Chester's dream, watching her brother and Beatrice kiss in the hallway, panicking. There was no way Chester was fantasizing about being with Beatrice, right?? -
Jayden could feel him holding tighter, and stirred slightly, holding him tight.

Maeve hid behind the corner, looking around. The castle looked the same. 'C'mon, c'mon...' she mumbled, trying to summon up someone to help her.

Jaydens dreamless sleep quickly changed. He was standing in the castle next to Maeve, who looked scared out of her mind. He didn't notice Chester and Beatrice yet. "Maeve?"

Maeve looked up at him, definitely scared out of her mind. 'Shh! I-I don't know what's going on, please help-' She spoke in a hurried whisper.

Jayden frowned, resting his hands on Maeves' shoulders. "It's alright, you're safe, deep breaths. What's wrong?"

'I-I'm in Chester's dream,' Maeve said shakily. 'I-It's my special power thing. Just... Just look.' She gestured around the corner.

Jayden listened looking out. His stomach twisted when he saw the two of them kissing. "Why..." why is she in his dreams?

Maeve looked down.
Beatrice eventually pulled away and grinned, hand resting on Chester's cheek. 'There, was that so bad?'
Chester looked down at her, leaning against the wall, and chuckled weakly. 'That didn't make my work go away.'
'Pfft, I'm more important than your work.'
