Chester held him close.

Jayd let him, kissing his nose.

Chester smiled. ‘It’s around dinner time.’

"Okay." Jayden stood up.

Chester stood up, pecking his cheek.

Jayd grinned, grabbing his hand and walking out of the door.

Chester smiled, following.

Jayden smiled back, walking down the ridiculously long hallway.

Chester followed, kissing the side of his head.

Jayd blushed, leaning into his touch.

Chester smiled. They got to the dining hall, where Maeve looked stuck and very uncomfortable in a conversation with their aunt.

Jayden sat next to her. "What're we talking about?"

Chester sat next to Jayden and his aunt.
‘How Maeve’s failing her classes…’ his aunt said disapprovingly, tutting giving Chester THAT look.
Chester looked to Maeve, frowning slightly. ‘You’re what?’ -
Maeve didn't say anything, looking down.
"At least she hasn't dropped out yet." Jayden shrugged, trying to lighten the mood. "I may or may not have done that at her age."
