"How would you even do it? I'm the king. You'd need my approval. How do you expect me to approve of you attacking my boyfriends kingdom?"

Chester peeked out from under Jayden’s chair. He could see Jayden, and Caden’s head from the other side of the table.
Caden looked absolutely furious. He had no good argument. ‘I WILL do it!’ he snapped. -
The lack of an argument made Jayden chuckle, despite the situation. "I'm sure you will." He said in a voice like he was talking to a 5 year old saying they were going to be a superhero. "Good luck."
(I'm gonna go for the night. Hopefully I'll pop up in the morning, but if not, see you in 2-3 days!) -
(Alr, gn and cya later!)
Caden was fuming. He grabbed Jayden’s shirt and slapped him around the face, having no other argument.
Chester morphed into a human and shoved Caden away. ‘Get away from him!’ he shouted. -
Jayden winced at the sharp pain before glaring at Caden. "Don't touch me again!"
Caden, meanwhile, seemed more interested in-and infuriated by- Chester having appeared out of nowhere. "You brought him along?! You know he's not allowed in here!" -
‘I brought myself along actually,’ Chester snapped.

"I'm sure you did." Caden said, still glaring at Jayden.
"Whatever. If you don't have anything worthwhile to say, I'm leaving." -
‘Fine, go ahead. Don’t think I’ll forget this.’
Chester glared, turning away and wrapping an arm around Jayden. -
Jayden walked out, holding Chester tightly.

Chester smiled softly, pulling him close. They got out of the room and Chester shut the door. ‘Sorry about that,’ he said.

"It's fine." Jayden mumbled, looking down.
(aaaand I'm gonna go now, see you in a few days!) -
Chester tilted his head slightly so he could look at Jayden’s face. ‘Hun? Are you mad at me?’
(Okay, see you then!) -
"Not at you." Jayd said after hesitating.

Chester rested his thumb on Jayden’s cheek, the one Caden had slapped. ‘Are you okay? Do you need ice or something?’

Jayden leaned into his touch, wincing slightly. "No, I'm fine." He mumbled.
