Jayd leaned into him.
"You know I didn't mean that! It was just whatever I needed to say to get him to shut up!"
"Because that succeeded." Jayden said dryly, chuckling. -
Chester laughed, holding him close. ‘I f---ing love you,’ he whispered.
Astrid scowled. ‘You were going to use me, you don’t actually care about me!’ -
"I f---ing love you too." Jayden grinned.
"What would I even use you for, we have the same beliefs on these sort of things!" Caden sounded like he was grasping at straws, trying desperately to get Astrid to believe him. -
Chester kissed the top of his head, holding him tightly.
‘I couldn’t agree with you less! First you call my brother a slur, then you try to control me! We agree on some things, Caden, but you can’t start wars for the sake of it, especially against my brother’s boyfriend!’ Astrid shouted. -
"For the sake of it?! I'm doing it for US, Astrid! For all of us even if SOME OF US won't believe it! Face it, we could use the land, and it's no secret that-" Caden noticed Jayden and Chester eavesdropping and glared. "Are you two listening in on us?!"
"It's hard not to." Jayd muttered. -
Everyone else in the room were also listening in. Jayden’s chef was too scared to come out with the food.
Astrid scowled, grabbing the collar of Caden’s shirt. ‘Look at me, you little s---. You’re not doing anything for us, you’re doing it for power! No secret that what, Caden? Say it.’ -
(No, I feel that chef xD)
"I was going to say that his kingdom's economy is better than ours. Don't you want a richer kingdom?" Caden tried to yank himself off of Astrid's grip. -
(Same honestly xD)
Astrid scowled. Chester grinned. ‘Did you just compliment my ruling? Thanks~’ he said to annoy Caden.
Astrid let out a laugh. ‘I don’t care if his kingdom is richer than ours. How could you even think of doing that?! You’re a f---ing adshole!’ -
Caden glared at Chester before looking back at Astrid. "His military is pretty decent too. Not nearly as good as ours, obviously, but we could always use more people, couldn't we?"

‘Hey, my military is way better than yours-‘
Astrid cut him off. ‘You selfish jerk! I swear to god, if it wasn’t against the law, I’d f---ing kill you!’ -
Caden ignored Chester. "Oh, so when it's any other kingdom it's fair game, but the second it's your little circus act of a brothers new little f*g, we can't go near it, even though his kingdom is our biggest competition at the moment?!"
Jayden grabbed Chester's hand, squeezing it tight. -
Chester’s stomach panged. He squeezed Jayden’s hand back, but didn’t say anything.
Astrid scowled. ‘Don’t you dare call him that. Don’t you dare call either of them that. The only circus act here, Caden, is you. Chester would never attack his own boyfriend’s kingdom, if that’s what you’re so worried about.’ -
Jayden looked up at Chester, noticing his facial expression. He leaned into Chester wordlessly.
Caden looked like he was FUMING, but he stayed quiet. -
Chester buried his face in Jayden’s hair. Astrid scowled and let go of Caden, shoving him. ‘You dare to even lay a finger on my brother and I’ll make you regret it, understand?’ he snapped, balling his fists. ‘I’ll f---ing ruin you.’

Jayd looked up at Chester, wrapping his arm around him.
Caden glared. "Fine, then." He snapped before walking off.
