Heart shaped box

Collins laid down next to him, looking up at the sky. She'd noticed a cloud that looked particularly like a lion, and was fascinated by it.
-
Florence carefully traced the carvings on the heart as he groggily looked up at the sky
-
'Does that cloud look like a lion to you?' Collins asked Florence, after noticing he was awake. She pointed at the cloud she'd been staring at.
-
"what's a lion?" Florence asked quietly as he mimicked the kalimba music from the heart.
-
Collins thought about the best way to answer that. 'A very large cat. They live in Africa, I think.' She looked over at Florence. 'Do you know what a cat is?'
-
"I used to have a cat. It ran away from the lab." Florence said. He traced the carvings carefully and started to make a sort of cat sound to the harmony of the music
-
'Cats do tend to do that,' Collins said with a shrug, then looked back up to the sky.
-
"that was better for it." Florence said. He mimicked a piano as he closed his eyes.
-
'I suppose,' Collins said, looking back at the lion-cloud.
-
Suddenly, Florence started humming a different melody from the music box. It was almost familiar but not very recognizable.
-
Collins glanced over at him. By now she knew what the music box melody sounded like but the tune Florence hummed was unfamiliar. 'What's that?' she asked.
-
"hmm? It's Carmen, or at least that's what the creator said. He said it was an Op-era. He didn't explain it to me so I'm not quite sure what it means but I liked the melody." Florence said. He hummed the song more.
-
'I've never seen the Opera Carmen,' Collins said. 'I've heard it's really good, though. An Opera is like a musical, but with no microphones and it uses a different kind of music.'
-
"I've never seen it either. I haven't seen a musical either, all I get is the music from Carmen." Florence said. He hummed a very familiar melody, it was used in a video game that Florence saw a researcher play once on the lab computers. All Florence remembered about the encounter was there were glowing eyes and then suddenly a teddy bear popped up.
-
Collins tried to place the music he was humming but couldn't, and so looked back up at the sky.
