'Oh. Right,' Collins said, staring at the screen. She tapped absentmindedly on the edge of the keyboard, trying to think of what his password could be. 'Did the assistant researcher have a partner?'

"he hated anyone getting near his research. Other researchers said hd just hated people." Florence said. He mimicked inaudible shouting he'd once heard from the assistant researcher

'Hm,' Collins said. 'Do you know the date he was born? or if he had any pets?'

"he had a twin sister apparently. He used to talk about how he hated her." Florence said. He mimicked the occasional noises the computer would make over the strain of running

Collins turned back to the computer and typed into the password "Ihatemysister". She tried all sorts of keywords before giving up. 'Did he have a diary?' she asked, though knew how unlikely it was.

"he did, but he kept that on his computer." Florence said. He mimicked the squeaking wheels sometimes make

'Dang,' Collins mumbled. 'Did he have a favourite experiment? A favourite food? Or even a secret crush?'

"he hated everything from what I remember." Florence said. He fluffed up his wings before fluttering then a bit

Florence hovered over the dusty bed

Collins stared at him. 'How are you doing that?'

"it's the warm air in this room. Good for gliding." Florence said

Collins nodded. 'That's so cool,' she said quietly.

"thanks!" Florence said happily. He flapped his wings a bit before falling back onto the dusty bed

Collins smiled and turned her attention back to the computer. She fiddled with a broken key for a bit before typing into the password slot "Ihateeverything", though had little faith in her guess.
