"I don't... Know." Florence said. It stood up and walked out of the room, shifting it's weight between it's arms
-
'.... Right,' Collins said, even more confused and a bit worried. She stood and followed Florence out of the room after skimming over the file again.
-
The file seemed to have a second page that had almost completely fused with the first page. It would be impossible to turn the page without professional help. Florence walked through the corridor and found a room with a plaque that read "obsidian, assistant director or research."
-
Collins frowned at the piece of paper before hurrying after Florence. Once she caught up to him she noticed the plaque. 'The assistant researcher,' Collins said under her breath. 'I wonder what kinda stuff he keeps in his room.'
-
Florence walked in and smelled the air, it smelled like axe body spray. There were two bookshelves filled with experiment logs and ethics books that he seemed to disregard. There was also a small shelf filled with water damaged notebooks that had started to grow mushrooms. Finally a table with an old computer
-
Collins followed, and wrinkled her nose at the foul smell. She looked around. 'He hasn't been here in a while, huh?' she said, walking over to the desk. She ran her finger over the top of the computer, which had gathered a good layer of dust. 'Gross.'
-
"he didn't like the books the creator gave him. He said they were 'trivial." Florence said. He mimicked a loud typing sound
-
Collins looked at the spines of the books on the shelf, reading the titles in her head. 'Right,' she said quietly. 'When was he last in here?'
-
"all the researchers left their rooms for good after the creator left." Florence said before hitting the assistant researcher's bed. Dust flew into the air and Florence coughed.
-
Collins sneezed and waved the dust away. 'Why?' she asked once her nose had stopped tingling.
-
"well, um.... Whenever the creator is away we experiments tend to get... Out of hand. Many went into a rage when they could not sense him. I would have too without the heart." Florence said. He then mimicked Collins' earlier sneeze
-
Collins nodded, letting out a small chuckle at the mimicked sneeze. 'Do you know why you get out of hand when he's away?' she asked, wiping the dust off her finger.
-
"no knowledge. Everyone just gets antsy. Very bad." Florence said. He them mimicked Collins' chuckle. He liked mimicking people.
-
'Right,' Collins said with a laugh, unable to stay serious when he was mimicking her so accurately. 'How do you do that?'
-
"my talent? I don't know. My creator said it had to do with my mixed jeans. I don't wear jeans though." Florence said. He mimicked Collins' laugh with a smile
