'Yeah, we could go have a look,' Collins said. She stood and grabbed her satchel off the ground, slung it over her shoulder.

Florence walked uneasily on the floor. This was due to the fact that he'd smelled blood. He figured it was probably Jeremy.

Collins followed cautiously.

Florence walked up the stairs and found the door already opened. Eyes glowed from the shadows of rooms.

Collins peered into the rooms from behind him. She turned on her torch. It flickered a bit every once in a while. She shone her torch into the darkness.

The eyes belonged to several strange creatures that scattered when the light hit them. Florence mimicked a train as he saw them.

Collins flinched at the sudden movement. 'Shall we go inside?' she asked nervously.

"they're not dangerous. They're mice. Very skittish. Stomp and they'll run." Florence said. He mimicked speaking

'Are they experimented-on mice? Because Marco is supposed to be a dog, but green, eyeless and has backwards knees,' Collins said, trying to shine her torch on one of the skittish creatures. As far as she was concerned dogs were not green.

"don't bully Marco, but yes. They are ancient experiments at this point." Florence said. He mimicked Marco's whimpering

'Sorry,' Collins said. The mice-things scattered away until it seemed there were none in close proximity to the two. 'Should we go inside?'

"yeah, there's a lot of cool stuff. Be careful." Florence said. He mimicked the sound of the stairs breaking the day before

'Lethal stuff?' Collins asked worriedly, the thought of the extractor needle dangerously close to her neck. It made her shudder.

"no, who keeps lethal stuff in their rooms?" Florence asked, cocking his head. He mimicked the unfocused chatter that used to echo through this floor

'That's... actually a good point. I've heard of some Americans who keep guns in their houses, but that's a conversation for another day,' Collins said with the shrug.
