Florence fluffed up his feathers and mimicking a ringing.

Collins slipped through the crack in the door and sat down on the pavement.

Florence picked up a large shard of glass and lazily threw it into a random room. "It's really messy in here." He said before Mimicking a glass shattering.

'Yeah, I can tell.'

"I wish I could clean it up better, but I hate sweeping, and also fixing windows and wallpapers is really hard when you can't go to the store." Florence said. He once again mimicked shattering glass.

'Perhaps we can get the other experiments to help, if they like the pizza and decide they like us too,' Collins said.

"everyone likes pizza. What sort of crazy person doesn't like pizza?!" Florence shouted. His voice echoed and he mimicked it back.

'Dairy free people,' Collins said.

"then they can get dairy Free pizza. I'm pretty sure it's a thing." Florence said. He mimicked sloshing water. A voice rang out from the darkness. "Pizza?" It was raspy and high pitched.

Collins was about to respond, but the voice interrupted her. She glanced towards the sound, looking for the source. 'What was that?'

A little creature hobbled out of the dark. It was shaped like a human but it looked like it was made of wood. It spoke again. "I'm so hungry." Florence's ears perked up. He squared his stance before putting his hands down. "Hello?" Florence said. He mimicked an intercom buzzing.

‘We’re getting pizza for the, er, things here,’ Collins said, sitting up. The wood human thing didn’t seem too hostile. ‘Do you want some?’

"hungry. We haven't eaten. 5 years." The wooden creature said. It walked closer to them. It sounded like old wooden floorboards when it walked. Florence mimicked the sound. As the creature stepped into the light small crayon drawings could be seen on its legs and stomach. Florence looked at the creature, then smiled and started clapping ceremoniously for it.

'I'll take that as a yes, then,' Collins said, watching the creature for a moment. 'Do you have a name?'
