Valako walked into her house and took the broken mirror off of the wall.

Jonah waved at a few of the little kids down the road to his house before opening the door to his house and walking in.

Valako washed her dishes and thought about Jonah. It made her feel better. A friend, she liked him more than most people but she couldn't explain why.

Jonah microwaved some leftover food, wondering if he ought to go back to Valako's the next day. On one hand, it might be overkill to go every day, but on the other hand, he liked hanging out with her more than he did with most people.

Valako wondered if she would ever be worthy of telling Jonah what she thought. With her deformity she wondered if she could ever feel close to someone. If it wasn't for the deformity it was also the way people were treated if they were even close to her. It was terrible. She would rather suffer alone than let anyone else be treated the way she was

Jonah eventually decided he'd go to Valako's house the next day. If she was annoyed with him constantly hanging out with her she wouldn't let him stay after all.

Valako finished washing her dishes and put them away. Afterwards she searched her cupboards, seeing what ingredients she had. She was running low on flour and salt. After looking in her fridge the milk was running out too. She'd have to go to the store soon

Jonah doodled in his sketchbook, drawing the forest.

Valako walked to her room and looked through the shelves grabbing a cookbook her mom left.

Jonah kept sketching and coloring until it got late, and then he went to be.

Valako read through her mom's cookbook. This one was about fried food. She decided to add vegetable oil to the grocery list

Jonah got changed into PJs and then went to bed.

Valako set her alarm early then went to bed

Ummm........ Jonah had an amazing sleep.

Valako woke up at 6 in the morning and got dressed for the day today she was going shopping and getting there early was important. It scared less people
