Sierra, in a panic, rushes to the other side of the school as fast as possible. with only 2 minutes before the bell rings

Abby rolled her eyes unsure of where her friend was heading-"Are you going to science or not?" she asked.

"why are you guys still sitting there?" Sierra asks as she passes Abby and Max on the way to class. "i've already been to my locker and-
she's cut off by the roblox death sound again.
"no i'm late!" -
“Shoot!” Max said, following Sierra. “Now all of us are late!”

"Oh well, the teacher's not to bad, it'll probably only be a detention!" she said with sarcasm, rolling her eyes but she didn't really care. It gave them time to practice silent communication anyways.

when she reaches the door, Sierra carefully opens it and steps inside the class, trying to make sure that the teacher doesn't notice her

Max followed Sierra, trying not to be seen by the science teacher, Ms Young.

the efforts of Max and Sierra are to no avail. the teacher sees them and immediately gives them each a detention slip, sending them to their seats. "now that the interruption has been taken care of," Ms Young huffs, bringing out one of those long wooden pointers. "we can continue the lesson."

“Jerk.” Max muttered under his breath as he sat down.

"i heard that!" the teacher glares at him, giving him the stink eye as she continues teaching.
Sierra sits in the seat to the right of Max, even though it wasn't her usual back row spot, she decided to try and make friends with him. what if he's able to give information about the suspicious person? or possibly other cases. -
(you guys forgot about me, I followed you guys into the classroom 😭)
Abby placed herself next to Sierra unsure why she had moved from her usual spot. "Told you so" she said wondering how long the detention would be. -

“We get it, you’re sooooo smart.” Max mumbled under his breath, not realizing how rude it sounded. -
Abby gave him a glare but she was actually quite offended. She wasn't actually a nerd but her grades weren't to bad apart from science and georgraphy. Her grades were more low then her other subjects.

Max tried not to fall asleep in the middle of the lesson. Why was science such a dull class?
