Abby nodded. "Let's go to Maths then" she stated just as the bell rang.

Max nodded, following Abby, waiting for Sierra to come too.

"i'll meet you guys there, i need to get something from my locker." Sierra says before sprinting down the hallway and up the stairs to her locker

“Alright, meet you there-“ but by then Sierra was already out of the classroom.
“Well, see you in math.” Max said to Abby with a slight smile before walking off. -
*starts aggressively pounding on her locker because it got stuck* "why does this always happen to meee" *😭*
once she finally gets her locker open, she yeets her science stuff into her locker, grabs out her math books, kicks her locker closed, and sprints down the hall to math class, grabbing the attention of very concerned schoolmates -
Max was already in class when Sierra showed up, and he let out a tiny chuckle.
“It’s alright, the bell doesn’t ring for another minute.” -
panting, Sierra falls into the seat next to him. "oh. my. god." "that almost killed me." "i accidentally ate an apple seed and started choking while i was running." "that was not fun."

Max laughed, then stopped himself. “I mean, that sounds horrible.” He looked over at the door, waiting for Abby. “Where is she?” He muttered.

Abby had bunked off maths. It was easy, loads of kids did it. But she wasn't that kind of person. She hated maths, and she was terrible at it in the bargain. Last time she scored below 90 she was given a warning at the spy agency, she didn't want it to happen again, though she knew she would never be sacked. Instead she locked herself in one of the cubicles and waited.

"she really hates math." "as do most people, but that's probably just because they suck at math." she picks up a pencil and grabs out her homework from the day before out of her math folder. "what's your favorite subject?" -
“Science, but only because the experiments are fun.” Max said, smiling. “What’s yours?” He also grabbed his finished homework.

"math of course," she laughs, flipping her hair back. "and PE, i love to run and do stunts and stuff."

“Oh, I get it.” Max said, smiling. “Makes sense.”

“Basketball.” Max said immediately. “I love basketball.”
