"ANYWAY, the point is, I'm going to be the bait. It makes the most sense tactically."

'It really doesn't,' Callum said as the bus stopped outside the school. 'If we go through with this, I'm the bait. End of discussion,' he said firmly, standing up.

"But if anything happened to you I'd be stuck there, unable to get out. The shadow would eventually get to me too. If I was bait and something went wrong, you could still get out. Therefor, I should be the bait." Eli protested, getting up as well.

'I said end of discussion,' he snapped, starting to walk off the bus.

"I don't CARE, I'm not allowing you to be bait!"

Callum ignored them and stepped off the bus.

"Don't ignore me!" Eli snapped, jumping off of the bus. "Look, we don't have to go with the bait plan unless it's our last chance, alright?"

'Alright,' Callum said, walking into the school grounds.

"Ha, you're not ignoring me now!" Eli cheered, following Callum.

Callum sighed. He was still partially irritated and angry, so he said nothing in response.

Eli sighed as well, following Callum and trying to think of something to say that would make Callum less mad at them.

He took out the schedule out of his bag and checked his class. Humanities.
