“Well it’s true, so don’t tell yourself otherwise.” Kai said, smiling back.

Amira blushed slightly. "Thanks" she muttered. "What do you wanna do you wanna do?"

Kai shrugged. “I don’t care what we do.”

"I don't really know" she stated with a shaky laugh.

“Hmmmmm, maybe we could play with Aaron.” Kai joked.

Amira gave a small chuckle. "We could, but what do you actually wanna do though?"

Kai shrugged. "I dunno, we could just... talk." He suggested, walking back to the bench.

"Sure" she shrugged following Kai back to the bench.

“So….. how do you like the camp?”

"It's alright I suppose, better then the place I was staying before we came here"

“What camp were you staying before here?” Kai asked, not knowing if it was a personal question or not.

"It wasn't a camp" she muttered. "It was two squashed rooms with one thin mattress and no pillows for each family. One for females the other for males" she explained shaking a little as she remembered the horrors of her old "home".

Kai stuck his tongue out. “Blegh, that sounds dreadful.”

"It was" she agreed. "How was your old place like?" she asked wondering if he had stayed in the same kind of place as her or someplace better, hopefully not worse...

“It was this tiny little house, with 5 rooms all cramped with people. They separated it based on age, with the adults in one hallway and the children in the other, so me and Aaron got to be in the same room.”
