"To make sure you two weren't going crazy. And to make sure he wasn't making you uncomfortable." Terry said, motioning towards Nik with his eyes.

'Why would he do that? We've been together three months and he's never made me uncomfortable once.'

Terry shrugged. "You never know." Was his only response, and Nik just shrugged. He supposed Terry wasn't entirely wrong to assume something like that considering what most of the kids his age were like.

Natsuki sighed. 'I just like my privacy.'

"I get that. I won't bug you two like that again, alright?" Terry amended.

Natsuki nodded. 'Thank you.'

Terry smiled. "No problem." He said before looking at the clock. "You two ought to start walking."

Natsuki followed his gaze and nodded. She hurried into the kitchen and grabbed two bagels and some lunch money then rushed out.

Nikolai followed Nat out. "That went well."

Nat nodded, giving a bagel to him. 'It did.'

Nik took a bite out of the bagel as they both walked to the school.

Natsuki followed, tucking the lunch money in her pocket.

The two of them got to the school after a few more minutes, and Nikolai opened the door for Nat.

Natsuki smiled at Nik in thanks and finished off her bagel.

Nik finished his bagel as well. "What's your next class?" He asked after he finished eating it.
