Natsuki's smile widened and she squeezed his hand, starting to walk down the stairs.

Nik followed. Terry was reading another newspaper, and his eyebrows shot up. "Did you two sleep good?" Terry asked, with a terrible poker face. Nikolai immediately realized Terry must've peeked in at one point, and his whole face went red.

Natsuki realised this too, and her eyes widened. 'Mhm,' she hummed, in a very high-pitched voice.

Terry chuckled. "What'd you see?" Nik asked both curious and dreading the answer.

'You were both sleeping, that's all I saw,' Terry said, with a terrible straight face.

"You definitely saw SOMETHING!" Nikolai protested, but he didn't say any more.

'You were both sleeping in the same bed,' he continued.

"There, that's better!" Nik said, blushing.

'And I saw you two cuddling before bed...' he continued, sighing.
'Were you watching us the whole time?' Natsuki exclaimed, horrified. -
"No!..." Terry said, but he couldn't keep a straight face.
"You did!" Nikolai accused. -
Terry didn't say anything. Natsuki dropped Nik's hand and stormed out of the room angrily, into the kitchen.

Nikolai gave a slow clap to Terry. "You're either really protective of her or really stalkerish over me."
Terry smiled. "Lets go with the first one." He decided, and Nik nodded before walking after Nat. -
Natsuki was pacing the kitchen, hands over her face.

"You ok?" Nik asked, even though he knew the answer was probably a no.

'What do you think?'
