Nat chuckled and turned her attention back to Daniel.

Daniel smiled, looking back at Nat as he fiddled with a pair of magnets in his pocket.

Nat waited for him to say something, leaning back against the bench.

“I don’t think I’ve seen you before.” Dan said, looking curious. “Not even at school, and there’s not many children in this city.”

Nat nodded.

“Are you new here?” He asked, cocking his head. “Or do you go to the boarding school?”

Nat nodded again.

“Yes as in you’re new here?” Daniel asked, sounding slightly annoyed.

Nat's brows furrowed into a small frown for a split second, before she plastered a smile on her face and nodded again.

Daniel noticed her expression before she smiled and got slightly quiet.
“Sorry, that tome sounded kinda rude.” -
She shook her head. She didn't blame him for being frustrated, it would've been annoying if the person you were having a conversation with refused to speak.

“No, it came off wrong.” He insisted. “I-uh… I look forward to seeing you in school.”

Nat gave a small smile and nodded.

Daniel smiled back, relaxing slightly.
“Well it was nice meeting you, but I gotta get back home.” He said, standing g up and calling for Eve. -
Eve shouted back at him, 'Pleease? Just five more minutes!'
'Five minutes turns to twenty,' Daniel responded. 'Come on.'
