"Really?" Claire asked. "Can I listen to you sometime?"

Blaze scratches the back of his neck, a little embarrassed. "uh, sure." he says.

"What songs do you know?" she asked. Claire loved music, she wouldn't let Blaze under credit himself.

Blaze sighs. "well, some i can name off the top of my head are If I Die Young, Youth, and a couple others..." he says.

"Sorry, am I making this seem like an interrogation?" Claire asked, concerned over his sigh. "I didn't mean for it to be."

"no, it's alright. it's just not a lot of people actually know me. it's kinda... relieving, i guess, for someone to actually ask me questions about myself." Blaze says.

Claire smiled at him, then ruffled his black hair. It's so soft, she realized. [/i]Softer than it looks.[/i] "I like getting to know you," she said.

Blaze's eyes widen when Claire ruffles his hair, then smiles. "Thank you, Claire."

Claire was once again stunned by his smile. She sat there staring at him for a moment, nothing else in the world existing. But then she remembered herself and settled back into her seat. "So what's your passion?" she asked.

"my passion? i haven't really thought about it..." Blaze says, clearing his throat and looking at the floor.

"Well, what's something that you love doing?" she prompted.

Blaze stays silent for a couple minutes, thinking. "playing my guitar, i guess." he says.

"Would you consider it a passion?" she asked. "Something you could do for hours on end and never grow weary of it?"

Blaze nods. "probably, yea..." he says. "what about you? what's your passion?" he asks Claire.

She thought for a moment. "Drawing," she finally said. "I love having my ideas come to life on the page."
