"Agreed." Paxton gets on his hands and knees, feeling around for the baby Basilisks.

"is there anything Basilisks are attracted to?" Willow asks Hermione, who pulls a small notebook out of her messenger bag she had. "hm... i can't find anything about that..."

"They like insects, and their main predators are weasels..." Paxton recalls. "Wait. Mr and Mrs Wealsey, y'all could be its predator?-"

"What?" Ron asks, looking offended. "No, Ronald. It was a joke." Hermione says, rolling her eyes. "If only my dad were here, he could use his patronus..." Ron says.

"So... we just need a huge bug. Anyone know what that could be? If you do, I could go find some, whatever it is?" Paxton asks.

"Well, there are spiders around." Willow suggests, and Ron winces at that.

Paxton nods, "Alright. I'm going to go look for some spiders then. Y'all should look for some too, the more the merrier, y'know?"

Willow makes a face. "alright..." she pulls a jar out of her Messenger bag, feeling around on the ground for spiders and putting them in it.

"Oh hey, check it out! I found a spider nest over here!" Paxton scoops it into a jar, sealing it tight."

Ron wrinkles his nose, backing away from Paxton and Willow, then almost trips over a Basilisk. "bloody hell! i almost died because of this snake!" he exclaims, and Willow chuckles.

Paxton carefully picks up the Basilisk that Ron tripped over and puts it in the sack. "Technically that would be twice, wouldn't it?"

Ron processes that question. "oh, yea. that would be twice." he says, shrugging. Harry and Hermione chuckle. WIllow holds out her hand for a high five. "Good one, Paxton."

Paxton goes for that high-five, but completely misses Willow's hand. "Oops-"

"now look who can't see!" Willow says, chuckling. "so that's the third, we only need two or three more babies... if there are any more." Harry says, lost in thought.

"Well, according to how many eggshells there were... there should be at least three left." Professor Sullivan states.
