"Professor, We have to get him to the Hospital wing!" Willow says frantically.

Professor Sullivan picks up Paxton rushing him over to the hospital wing. "This young man just got his leg bitten off."

"leg bitten off?" Madam Pomfrey stops what she was doing. "how did that happen?"

"We found some basilisk eggs that hatched, and one of them were fully grown and slithered up here. Paxton beheaded it but gave his leg in the process." Professor Sullivan explains.

"oh, my. that is serious! put him on a hospital bed, while i get the things..." Madam Pomfrey hurries into her office, grabbing some things.

Professor Sullivan places Paxton on one of the hospital beds. He has a worried expression on his face.

"give this to him once he wakes up." Madam Pomfrey hands Professor Sullivan a small bottle marked 'Essence of Dittany'. "it will regrow the limb." Willow looks from the bottle to Paxton, worried.

Professor Sullivan nods, "Alright. I suppose we just stay here until he gains consciousness."

"will he be alright?" Willow asks Madam Pomfrey. "if you give him that bottle right after he wakes up, yes." Madam Pomfrey responds.

A few minutes later, Paxton gains consciousness, gasping, "WHAT HAPPENED?! WHERE'S THE BASILISK?! AND WHERE IS MY LEG-"
"Drink this." Professor Sullivan pours the liquid into Paxton's mouth. -
"it'll regrow your leg, Paxton." Willow says, relieved he's awake.

"Oh...okay. Well, where the trio? Did they leave already?" Paxton asks.

The Trio walk through the Hospital Wing door. "we had to talk to McGonagall before coming here, sorry!" Hermione says. "how are you feeling, Paxton?" She asks him.

"Take a guess. I've just slain a Basilisk and got my leg bitten off." Paxton puts on a lazy half grin.

"Not very good, huh?" Harry asks.
