Willow looks at the Professor in surprise. "you think you can?" She asks him.

"I'm the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, I think I can handle some snakes." Professor Sullivan chuckles.

"true." Willow says, then bumps into Paxton by accident. "sorry!" she exclaims, and the Trio laugh.

"If you say that you 'didn't see me there' that's an absolute lie because I'm literally taller than ALL OF YOU." Paxton laughs.

"but i have a blindfold on! so no, i didn't see you!" Willow exclaims, sticking her tongue out at where she thinks he is, to the left.

Even though he was on the right. "But my 3'o clock shadow surely went through your blindfold." Paxton chuckles.

"there's no light down here, so no shadows." Willow says. Ron elbows Hermione again. "i wonder who that reminds me of." he says to her. "oh, shut it Ronald!" Hermione says, rolling her eyes and smiling.

"Oh right. My bad." Paxton smacks his forehead, feeling incredibly dumb at the moment. He hears another hiss and bags the nearest thing, which was... a snake's shed skin?

"Probably left over from the Mother Basilisk." Harry says. "but wouldn't it have been decomposed by now?" Willow asks.

"Unless, HAS ONE OF THEM FULLY GROWN UP ALREADY??!!" Paxton inquires, panicking.

"no, no... they couldn't have grown up already, it's only been... wait... how long has it been?" Ron says, panicking as well as he turns to Harry. "twenty years, Ron. they could have grown up." Harry responds.

"If we come upon the fully grown Basilisk, Paxton you have my permission to use the sword." Professor Sullivan states. Paxton nods, "A-alright..." He is nervous.

"i'm really hoping it doesn't come to that..." Willow says, eyes widening. "we gotta find these snakes fast!" she exclaims.
