they walk over to the tunnel, carefully. a sound comes from Ron, who had kicked a rock. "Ronald!" Hermione chastised. "bloody hell, woman. it was an accident!" he responds.

Meanwhile Paxton being intentionally loud: "AYO SNAKIES, WHERE Y'ALL AT?!"

"Paxton!" Willow says. "you're going to scare them off!"

"E x a c t l y. But who says that the eggs hatched? WHO SAYS THERE EVEN IS EGGS AT ALL??" Paxton questions.

They walk down the tunnel a bit, and come across a small circle of stones. laying around in the circle are eggshells. "i think that says it." Ron responds. "yes, Ron. i would believe so." Harry agrees.

"Anyone got some Basilisk-Be-Gone spray, or something then?" Paxton inquires.

"er, no." Harry says, looking at the other two. "we forgot the Sword." he says. " Harry!" Hermione says. "you were supposed to grab it before coming down here i knew we were forgetting something..."

"Oh, you mean this bad boy right here?" Paxton pulls out the sword.

"Paxton, when did you get that?" Willow exclaims, confused. The Trio looks at him, confused as well.

"So uh... I may or may not have snuck into the principal's office and uh...rummaged through the place, found this and decided to BORROW IT. I knew one day this would've come in handy." Paxton answers.

"Paxton... you do know there's a Professor with us... right...?" Willow asks. "Willow, we're going to need it to... wait, what are we doing with the basilisks?" Hermione turns to Professor Sullivan.

"We have to bring them back, alive. The Basilisk species is going extinct because of some genius that found a way to use the Basilisks' fangs for some very...unsettling things, then slaughtering them afterwards." Professor Sullivan sighs.

"OH-" the Trio gasp. Willow just stands there for a second, then looks around the chamber, even more determined.

Paxton puts the sword away, "Oh. Well then I guess we won't be needed this then." Professor Sullivan shakes his head, "Oh no, we'll need it. Baby and adolescent Basilisk's venoms are stronger than the full adult to defend themselves against predators. You must be very careful so you won't be bitten by them, understand?"

Willow digs around in the bag she somehow still had on, and pulls out a couple pairs of dragon hide gloves. "will these help?" she pulls a pair on and holds another out to Paxton.
