"oh alright. i didn't know where he was, that's why i was asking. Sugar gliders are pretty cute." she says, while the chipmunk sits on her lap, sleeping.

"Aw, it likes you. Got any nuts? So, you can feed it when it wakes up?" Olive asks, wondering if you could feed cashews to a wild rodent.

"hm... i don't think so... ah, wait, surprisingly, i do." she pulls a bag of nuts out of a pocket in her dress. "i don't even remember what all i put in these pocket anymore..."

Olive opens her satchel and takes out her trail mix, picking the nuts out of it. "Walnuts, peanuts, cashews, macadamia nuts..." she mumbles to herself. Then she smiles, "Geez, this is really NUTS!"
(Ba dum pshh) -
she slaps a hand to her forehead. "wow." she says, and nudges the chipmunk awake. she sets a few nuts on her hand, and holds them out to it. it takes a couple and stuff them into it's cheeks. "aww!!!" she says, her heart melting.

"It's literally eating out of the palm of your hand." Olive interjects with a smug grin on her face. The smug grin melts into a genuine smile, "It is pretty cute though..." her voice trails off, a faint blush on her cheeks.

she picks it up, lifting her hands so it's level with her face. "ima call you Chip, little guy" she looks up and Olive. "are you okay?" she asks.

Olive laughs nervously, "Haha, yeah. It just feels a little warm out here, right now." She pulls at her shirt, becoming a little sweaty.

"oh. alright then." she says, smiling. "hey, wait. do you hear that?" she says, going silent and listening. "sounds like there's water nearby!" fair enough, there was the sound of rushing water, not that faint. "we could go try to cool off there!" she says, sitting Chip on her shoulder and standing up.

Olive nods and gets up. "That sounds really good right about now. Lead the way, Tina!"

(did i forget to mention she hasn't worn shoes this whole time XD)
she follows the sound of water, and they come onto a small river, with water so clear you could see the bottom. she steps in, not really caring about her dress getting wet. "come on, Olive!" she says, looking at her. -
(Uh, you might have mentioned it, but I forget-)
Olive takes off her jacket, beanie, socks and combat boots, placing them at a nearby tree. She dips her foot into the water and shivers. "C-cold...!" But she was grinning. Slowly and fully got in, and half of Olive's body was emersed in the water. (Olive is 5'3 and a half. Pretty short.) -
(Karentina, being an elf, is probably over 6ft)
Chip jumps from her shoulder, trying to reach dry land, but misses and lands in the water. he crawls out, soaked. Karentina splashes water at Olive, giggling. -
(I don't know if I mentioned this, but Olive is a Goblin. A much better-looking goblin and is one of the taller kinds, but a goblin, nonetheless.)
Olive wraps her arms around Karentina's legs, trying to get her to fall into the water. "WE SHALL BE SOGGY TOGETHER!" She laughs. -
"GAAAAHHHH" she says, falling backwards into the water. she comes back up, gasping for air. "Olive! how could you?" she says jokingly. she lunges and her, trying to knock her down as well.
