"Plenty," Aaron replied. "They're my main source of customers. Why do you want to know?"
-
The corners of Willace's mouth tilted up deviously. "Curiosity, my good sir, naught but curiosity and a powerful feeling of boredom." In reality, this wasn't too far from the truth, but it certainly wasn't all of it. The locals were beginning to catch on about him and his partner. Many would come back from his performances with empty pockets, shocked at who it could be. Of course it couldn't be him, no, for he was always playing on the stage. But they couldn't keep this up forever.
-
"I see," Aaron replied.
Speaking of adventurers, Katherine had finished cleaning away every shard of glass and had now pulled up a stool close to a table where a man was boasting of his times in the South, braving the terrors of the seas, fighting the monsters that roamed the lands. Observing and engaging in the cultural differences of the countries there. It all excited her immensely. She often longed for adventures, but she was stuck here at this stupid job only able to hear far-fetched stories of what could be for her. -
"Your daughter certainly seems interested," Willace said with a chuckle, watching with a warm smile. The man telling the story made wild hand gestures, drawing attention and curiosity from others nearby. "Like a dog and his bone, so youth yearn for adventure. I am no exception. Do you have any potions of healing? I daresay I may need one later."
-
Aaron looked at his daughter. Katherine had the same free, wild spirit that her mother used to have. He wished he could let her live her dream.
He let out a sigh and set the cup he'd been wiping out down. But she was safer here.
He looked up at Willace with a smile. "Would you like it now or in the bottle for later?" -
"Preferably the bottle. More transportable than pouring it into my pocket," Willace replied in good humor. He thought of his empty flask. He would have to refill it soon.
-
Genevieve felt her cheeks get warm once again. “Y-your know,” she said, trying not to dwell on the fact that this was a very pretty goblin indeed, “you never told me your name.”
-
SORRY LATE POST))
-
Aaron nodded. He bent down to one of the cupboards behind the bar and took out a bottle of constitution potion, enough for a serving. "Here you go, setting it in front of the man."
-
(IT'S FINE, I WAS ASLEEP ANYWAYS. Good morning from where I am btw)
-
The goblin grins, "The name's Olive Wyatt Lich." She bows, gently taking Genevieve's hand, planting a soft kiss on it, out of respect to royalty.
-
Genevieve smiled at Olive. "Well hello there, Olive Wyatt Lich." She curtsied, showing her own respect to the goblin.
-
"Olive is just fine too." She says jokingly, then peers over at Willace. "M'lady, please excuse me for a moment." Olive goes over to Willace, takes him to a quiet area then hissed into his ear. "We earn the princess's trust, then rob her blind. She seems to be the naive type, so this will work out perfectly, got it?"
-
“Okay!” Genevieve said. She looked to where she went, seeing that Olive was heading over to Willace. Oh, she’s probably requesting music! Genevieve looked around the pub, playing a solo version of eye-spy while she waited for Olive to come back.
-
Olive comes back, wrapping her arms around Genevieve's waist, resting her chin on her shoulder. "I'm back~, Didja miss me?" Olive's voice was soft in Genevieve's ear.
