Olive looks at Aaron, the bartender. "I could take her, Aaron. You know you can trust me." She flashes her most prize-winning smile at him.
-
Willace finished the lively song to the applause of many, bowing yet again. Another entertainer stepped on stage, so Willace took the opportunity of slipping into the crowd and finding a target. He spotted Genevieve with a grin. Target locked. He walked over to her, his mood cheery although any man of good repute would see that he had "trouble" written all over him. "Enjoying yourself, princess?"
-
(Who's Olive?)
Aaron pointed a finger at the woman. "The last time I trusted you she nearly ended up on a caravan to who-knows-where."
"Alright, fine, I'll stay," Katherine said, raising her hands in surrender. -
Olive turns to Willace, giving him the death glare. As if to say, telepathically, "Don't you even THINK about it."
-
Now that the song by the immensely skilled fiddler was finished, a few people were beginning to leave, including that strange pesky woman near the dancefloor trying to steal the glass. She grabbed the busing bucket and made her way over, grabbing empty glasses as she went.
Finally she made her way over to the woman and said, "I'll take that," before the odd woman could try and stuff it behind her jacket. But while Katherine had a grasp on the glass, the woman wouldn't let it go. Katherine gave her a look. "You really don't want me to call the authorities over a pesky little glass,.would you?"
With that, the woman let go of the glass, sending Katherine staggering backwards. She bumped into someone on the dance floor. "Oh, I'm sorry," she said, and looking around she saw the performer from earlier. -
(The Resourceful Rogue and one of my favorite OCs. You can find more about her in one of the RPs I made.)
Olive's grin falters, "Oh come on Aaron. That was ONE TIME. And on ACCIDENT." -
"And because of that accident it's going to take a lot more than a, 'You can trust me' for me to consider letting her prance around with you again," Aaron replied sternly
-
Olive frowns but accepts her fate. "Fine. Have it your way, ya buzzkill." She sticks her tongue out at Aaron, in a joking way but also childlike.
-
Willace caught Katherine before she hit the ground and smoothly spun her into a tango dip. "Did you just fall for me, sweetheart?" he said with a cocky smile, straightening up and bringing her with him. As he did so, he took a coin from her pocket, probably some sort of tip. "I'm just teasing. That was quite a stumble you had there."
-
(She just stumbled backwards she didn't fall lol)
"Hey!" Katherine said as four glasses rolled out of her bin and shattered on the floor from his tango dip. Once he stood, she got out of his arms and fixed him with a glare. "You'd better be paying for that," she said, pointing at the ground. -
Willace grimaced at the sound of glass shattering, heaving a sigh. "I'd expect nothing less," he said, flipping her the coin he'd stolen from her. "But you need to pay attention. There are pickpockets who are far less polite out here."
-
"I'll take my chances," Katherine said, then went to go find a broom to sweep up the shards of glass. She hoped that man stepped on one of those shards and it cut through his shoe.
-
Willace looked around the room and thankfully didn't see his partner. They had likely made their escape with the distraction he had unintentionally created. He pulled a coin bag out of his purse, deciding to add a bit more money for their trouble, sliding it across the counter to Aaron. "I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused."
-
"It's quite alright," Aaron said. "Accidents happen. And I apologize for my daughter; she's always had quite the temper."
Katherine overheard and discretely shot her father a glare. -
Willace leaned against the counter with an eyebrow raise, watching her for a moment. "Well, I suppose I can't blame her." He took the flask out of his inside pocket but instead of pouring it into a glass this time, he drank directly from it. "Have any, oh I don't know, adventurers dropped by to your knowledge?" The flask went safely back inside of his cloak.
