Moroca shivered. "Oh, good gods. Vashti, go now."

Ami stopped her. She blocked the door. She laughed. "There's no escape."

Vashti whimpered. "Zumae!!" She said suddenly. "What if they get hurt?!"
Moroca shook her head. "Not happening." -
Ami smiled demonically. "And you expect your younger brother protect you? Pathetic."

"No." Moroca said calmly. "We are going to protect them."

Ami looked at them with tears. She had one blue eye. "I-I am s-sorry."

Moroca still shielded Vashti but nodded. "It is a demon, isn't it?"

Ami nodded. "Y-Yes."

Moroca frowned. "How can we get rid of it?"

Ami thought for a second. "I don't know."

Moroca sighed. "Then we have to hope it will leave you. I worry for our sibling, Vashti. Zumae won't know. They will hurt themselves."

Ami smiled. "I promise I will not hurt them."

Moroca nodded. "It might not be you. Z might hurt themself by trusting too much."

"Why can't they trust me?" Ami asked.
