Verona giggled and grabbed Tessa's hand. She pulled Tessa to a door that was just across the hallway from Tessa's room.

Tessa hadn't expected it to be so quick a trip. She hesitantly knocked on the door.

"Go away.” A muffled voice yelled out.
"C’mon big bro, it's meeeeeeee! Your beloved sister!" Verona chuckled, knocking on the door repeatedly. -
"Verona I think you're annoying him," Tessa said.

"Nahhhh, he’s always a grump.” Verona chuckled, waving her hand.

She let out a sigh. "Verona..." she sighed. Apparently these kids didn't know basic manners. She did and she'd been raised in the poor part of town.

"C'MONNNNN, OPEN THE DOOR!" Verona boomed, banging on the door louder and harder.

Tessa raised her eyebrows. She was going to go back to her room. She was not going to remain responsible for this child.

Suddenly, the door was thrust open by a dark-haired male.
He was tall and slender. His gaze was fixated on Tessa and Verona.
"What do you want?" He grumbled. -
"Apparently Verona wanted to blow your ears out, I just wanted to meet you," Tessa said.

"That sounds about right.” He glared at Verona.
Verona giggled nervously and took a step back, trying to hide behind Tessa.
"You know meeee~. Heheh!" -
"Of course he knows you, he's your brother," she rolled her eyes.

Suddenly Sandy ran out from Tessa's room and into the boy's. She sat next to Jacob expectantly. She licked his fingers as well. She wanted pets.
"Sorry, guess she wants to meet you too," Tessa said as she went to go grab her dog. -
(WE MUST APOLOGIZE D:)
(SANDY, FORGIVE US SEKEJJSJZJ)
The boy's eyes instantly went from dark lord to delighted angel.
He bent down and scratched behind the dogs ears, cooing at her. -
(My old dog was named Sandy because she looked exactly like Sandy from Annie)
Tessa saw how much he enjoyed the dog so she didn't pull her away.
Instead, she knelt down next to him and pet Sandy as well, who was enjoying all the attention she was getting.
"Her name's Sandy," Tessa said.
