Tessa walked into the mansions wide-eyed. When she had woken up today she had never figured that she would ever be here. She followed closely behind Hope Larson, Mr. Ryder's secretary. -
"And this is where you'll be staying." Said the business looking woman, walking into a [url=]bedroom[/url].

Tessa gazed in shock at the bedroom. It was twice as large as the bedroom she had been in for 16 years. And there weren't twenty other kids in it. -

The woman smiled and backed away as if she were gonna exit the room.
"I'll leave you to it then! The boss will be coming to meet you for dinner in about two hours.” -
Tessa only nodded. She set her things down. She looked like a ragdoll found in the dumps compared to the grandeur of the place.

The lady slammed the door shut.
A few minutes later, someone knocked on her door rapidly.
"Miss Verona, you aren't allowed to go in there!" A voice, the woman Tessa had just met most likely, scolded.
"But I wanna meet my new friiiiiiend." Another voice whined. It seemed to be a little girls voice. -
Tessa moved towards the door and opened it a crack so that she could see what was going on.

A little girl, about the age of 6, was whining at the lady that had escorted Tessa to her room.
The little girls name, as the lady had stated just a few seconds ago, was Verona.
She looked adorable with her teddy bear overalls and white dress. Her dark brown locks traveled down past her shoulders to her back. Verona's large, light green eyes seemed to be begging the woman to let her meet Tessa. -
Tessa opened the door wider. "It's okay, she can come in."

"But Miss, wouldn't that disturb y-"
"OUTTA MY WAY, OLD LADY!" Verona cheered, darting past the woman and entering the room. "Hiya! My name's Verona." -
She got down to the child's level. "I'm Tessa."
