Asteria quickly texted Roxy.
'What was the address to that party we went to last night?' -
(Alr)
'741537362 June Ships Everything RD.' Roxy replied.
'But why do you want the address? It isn't like they're hosting another party.' -
(XD)
'I need to return something,' she typed back and walked out the door to her car. -
'Ooo, what are you returning?’ Roxy typed.

But Aster was already driving towards Quince's house.
Soon, she arrived. She knocked on the door, but no one answered. Maybe she could sneak in and replace the item without them noticing. She tried the doorknob. It wasn't locked.
Asteria walked quickly to the end table she had taken it from, and reached into her pocket to take out the trinket bowl. -
"Ahem, I would like to know what on the planet Earth are you doing?" A chilly voice snapped.

Asteria was just taking the little bowl out of her pocket when she heard the voice behind her. She tensed up, then turned to see who had caught her.

It was none other than Quince.
He stared daggers at her, striding over to where she was standing.
"I'm going to ask you again. What are you doing?" -
"I - I was just trying to return this..." Asteria mumbled, stroking her thumb along the crystal bowl.

"Did you steal it?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Asteria swallowed. "Yes," she said. "But I didn't mean to."

"I- how do you not mean to steal something?"

"That's...sort of a personal question," Aster mumbled.

"Whatever the case, this is illegal snd I'm afraid that I have to report you to the cops.” Quince hissed.

"No!" Aster said a little louder than she intended to. She paused. "Please, just, before you do, listen to what I have to say."
