"No, now come on," Aster said. She wasn't entirely paying attention to where she was going and she bumped into someone.
-
A man with blonde hair and baby blue eyes looked down at Aster, glaring at her.
"Watch where you're going." He sneered. -
"Sorry," Asteria mumbled, trying to move past him. But it was rather hard with how crowded the place was.
-
“WAAAAAAIT. AS, LEMME GET HIS NUMBBBBBBER." Roxy yelled as Asteria dragged her away.
-
She let out a groan and slapped her hand over her friend's mouth.
Eventually they got outside.
"Why are you so heavy," she muttered. Roxy was putting all her weight in resistance of her. -
"Bunk beds," Roxy replied.
-
"Come on," Aster said, giving another tug. She really wished someone would help her, but she didn't think anyone at the party would, and so she had to do it herself.
-
Meanwhile, Quince had noticed that his possession has been stolen.
He emptied the pockets of everybody at the party, turning tables upside down and couches inside out just to find the trinket. -
Finally she got Roxy out the door. "No more partying," she said. She opened the car door and forced Roxy inside, then got into the driver's seat.
-
-
Roxy sobbed. "AS THE NUMBER, WE DIDN'T GET THEIR NUMBERS."
-
Asteria let out a big sigh then got in the driver's seat. She drove the duo away from the house and back to her own. There was no chance she was letting Roxy be by herself in the condition she was in.
-
Meanwhile, Quince hadn't found his beloved trinket yet.
A butler came up to him cautiously.
"You know those two girls? The one who was hitting on every man and the other who was just standing there awkwardly? I think they took the trinket." The butler said quietly.
Quince raised a suspicious eyebrow.
"That may be true." He muttered. "I'll host another party tomorrow. No doubt they'll be here. And when they do arrive, we confront them."
"Sounds like a plan.” The butler said. -
The next morning, Asteria noticed something in the pocket of the bottoms she had worn the night before. She pulled out a little trinket bowl. Her eyes widened. She must have taken it last night. She muttered a few curses under her breath. She hated her kleptomania. And she felt really guilty, having stolen something from someone who seemed like a really nice guy.
(I was kind of thinking she returns during the day, sneaking into his house, not at a party, but that works too) -
(We could change it to that if you want?)
Quince had prepared everything for Asteria's arrival. He had laid down things that would be impossible NOT to take!
Such as jewelry, antique boxes, etc.
