``Aw, dude I love BMC,`` Briar said with a smile, looking back over to Shawn. ``I haven't seen the musical in person but it looks so good from all the bootleg videos I've seen.``

"Yeah, same here," Shawn said with a grin. "Who do want to play?"

``Probably Michael. He's my favorite character,`` he said with a chuckle. ``Ooh, or Rich. Love him, great char.``

"Nice. I feel like I'd want to play Jeremy, but I don't know if I'm exactly ready to play a lead role."

``You seem like you'd be a great Jeremy,`` Briar said with a smile. ``I think you should try out, but if you're more comfortable as a side char it's fine.``

A shy grin creeped onto Shawn’s lips. “Thanks,” he said. “I’ll try to try out for Jeremy and we’ll see how it goes.”

``Nice,`` Briar said with a smile. ``I think you'll do great!``
The director announced more information about the musical before handing out the scripts. ``Auditions will start tomorrow and will be held for the next week or so, so start practicing!``
Briar bounced on his feet, extremely hyped for audition. ``This'll be so fun!`` -
Shawn grinned and held in a a chuckle at Briar’s hyper enthusiasm. Awh, he’s so cute, he thought to himself. holy SH-T what was that thought-
He tried to shrug it off as he smiled. “Sounds great. Good luck on getting the part you want,” he said to Briar, -
``Thanks, you too!`` Briar said with a smile.
``Briar, c'mere!``
He looked over seeing one of his friends calling him over. ``Sh-t, I've gotta go. Uhm, see you around? Yeah, see you!`` He said, waving at Shawn and running off to his friends. -
Shawn waved goodbye to Briar and began walking over to his own friend, calling out “see ya!” before fully turning away.

Shawn inhaled deeply, nervousness crawling through his veins. This was the auditions. This was where it was decided if he would be in or out of the musical.
