Well, his friend has C1 sign up for the school play with her, but C1 is hesitant, because most likely, other students will think he's gay when he's actually straight.

C1 meets C2, an openly gay student thespian. and guess what? C1 finds out that he's gay.

Briar stood at the entrance of the auditorium, greeting newcomers as they enter. It's always exciting seeing all the new people who want to try out theatre, being able to be like, a leader and show them the ropes. -
Inhaling deeply, Shawn hesitantly stepped into the auditorium. He passed by a boy and smiled at him genuinely. "Hey," he said. "Uh, do you, uh, do you know how the process of auditioning works? Sorry, this, uh, this is my first time."
