Shawn finished singing and by the end, he had a soft smile on his face. He became more confident throughout the song. He hopped offstage and sat back down, rubbing his hands against his jeans and exhaling slowly.

Briar cheered for Shawn, a huge smile on his face.

Shawn grinned sheepishly and looked down with a slight blush. Olivia looked at him with squinted eyes, but she shook it off.

Today was the day that the director posted the cast list. What part would Shawn get? Would he even be in the musical? I sighed and headed to the door that led to the auditorium. That's where the cast list would be. -
( hehehe >:) )
Briar anxiously paced back and forth outside of the auditorium, waiting for the director to put up the cast list. -
The director finally walked out of the auditorium, smiling as she taped the piece of paper on the wall by the door. The cast list. Shawn ran up to see the cast of the musical.

Michael - Briar Campbell

Rich - Joseph Fallon
Christine - Olivia Hill
Brooke - Kai Mason
Shawn exhaled. What? He thought. I got the part??
And Briar got Michael, he thought with a smile.
(i'm just putting random names for the rest of the cast :')) -
Briar watched the director put up the cast list and he rushed over, scanning for his name. ``Yes, I got Michael!``
( lmao ) -
“That’s amazing!” Shawn exclaimed, smiling at Briar.

``What'd you get, what'd you get?`` Briar asked, bouncing on his feet in excitement.

“I uh, I got Jeremy…” he mumbled, looking down with a slightly red, shy face.

``Yo! That's great!`` Briar exclaimed, smiling brightly. ``I knew you'd get it, you have great skills.`` He hugged the other boy for a moment, still smiling and laughing. One of his friends came over, chatting about the roles they got. Briar congratulated them, hugging his friend as well.

Shawn became flustered as hell when Briar hugged him. He smiled shyly and awkwardly returned the hug for a moment before Briar let go and turned to his other friends. Olivia glanced over to Shawn and squinted even harder. Hmmmmmm…

Briar chuckled, backing away from the cast list. ``Alright, time to memorize my lines and get no sleep,`` he joked with a chuckle, his friends chuckling along with him.
