Briar walked into the auditorium, smiling. The auditions. That oh so anticipated day to decide your fate of what role you'll get to play. He walked down one of the isles, sitting down with his friends as he waited to be called up.

Shawn sat down by his friend Olivia and took deep breaths, anxiety getting to him. "Hey," Olivia said softly to him, clamping his hand in hers. "It's gonna be ok. You'll do great," she said. He nodded and tried his best to have steady breathing.
"Briar Campbell, you're up," the director called out from her desk. -
``Whoo! Go Briar!`` Ross cheered as he watch him walk up onto the stage.

Shawn chuckled to himself and grinned, internally cheering Briar on.

Briar walked up to the stage, holding his script in hand. He started off by reading sections of the dialogue with the director playing the other character in that scene. -

"Okay kiddo, time to sing," the director said to Briar with a small smile. -
Briar nodded and pulled out his phone, pulling up music. He began to sing, practically pouring his heart out into it.

Shawn smiled. Wow, he's great, he thought to himself.

He soon finished singing, bowing with a smile on his face. He walked off the stage, walking over to his friends and sitting down.

"Shawn Jackson," the director said loudly. Shawn took in a shaky breath and stood up, heading to the stage and taking out his script.

Briar cheered for Shawn, clapping his hands.

Shawn smiled internally at Briar's cheering and it seemed to give him just a little bit more confidence. He recited his lines as well as he could.

Briar watched, pretty impressed with Shawn's skills.

"Okay, now it's time for you to sing," the director told him. Shawn sighed, shaking just slightly more. Singing was more of a nerve-racking thing for him than acting, but he'd have to do it. Shawn took a deep breath, pulled up music on his phone, shut his eyes, and began to sing.

Briar blushed, a smile growing on his face. He's got such an amazing voice, he thought, watching as Shawn sang.
