Julia dabbed at the juice stain with her wad of napkins. When she was finally satisfied, she dumped it and the scattered remains of her pocketful of napkins before carefully biting into her peach.
"I should have picked some less juicy ones, huh?" she said with a sheepish smile. -
``Yeah, probably,`` Aiden said with a chuckle, taking another of his peach.
-
Julia finally finished her peach and was left with a seed and two sticky hands. "Oh gross, I'm all sticky," she giggled.
-
Aiden chuckled, finishing off his peach. ``Same here,`` he said, throwing away the seed.
-
"I'd say a tour to the water fountains is in order, what do you think?" Julia said, subtlely pocketing the peach seed.
-
``Sure,`` Aiden said, wiping off his hands on his jeans.
-
Julia led the way, holding her hands together like a monk. In reality, she just didn't want to accidently touch someone. When they finally saw the fountains, she made her way over to them with alarming speed.
-
Aiden chuckled at Julia's sudden burst of speed, speed-walking to catch up to her. He stopped at the fountain, admiring it for a moment.
-
Julia scrubbed her hands clean and finally seemed satisfied with them, stepping back to look at the fountain. "It's pretty awesome, isn't it?" she said with a grin.
-
``It is pretty nice,`` Aiden said, crossing his arms. ``There was this large fountain at this park back where I lived that was much bigger than this one. And probably nicer, considering it was pretty new.``
-
"Is that so?" Julia said. "I personally think the oldness of it can be charming. It makes it seem so historical."
-
Aiden shrugged, keeping his gaze on the fountain. ``Guess so.``
-
Julia made a small hum of acknowledgement. "It appears that we have rather different views on things like this."
