``No, it's fine,`` Aiden said, looking over to Julia. ``Maybe we should head back.``
-
Julia nodded in understanding and agreement. "We're sodding wet. Maybe we could drop by my house for towels?"
-
``Sure,`` Aiden said with a nod.
-
They walked back to Julia's place, where she dug her key out of her pocket and unlocked the door. She pushed it open to reveal a clean, cozy little place with little plants scattered artistically here and there.
-
Aiden followed Julia inside, looking around at her place. ``Love the decor,`` he said with a quiet chuckle. ``I definitely couldn't tell you love plants.``
-
Julia managed to stifle a very unlady-like snort. "What can I say? Plants are the best," she said, going on a hunt for towels.
-
``Plants are really nice,`` Aiden said with a chuckle. ``I can't take care of them for the life of me, though. Wish I didn't kill them in less than a month.``
-
Julia snapped her fingers and finger-gunned him. "Then I have just the plant for you! Hold on, I'll go get it."
-
Aiden nodded, running a hand through his damp hair.
-
Julia returned with a small budding cactus. "Tada~!" she said, a happy smile on her face. "Meet Prince! You only have to water him like, once every two weeks."
-
Aiden smiled and took the cactus, looking at it. ``Thanks,`` he said, looking up at Julia.
-
Julia waved a hand indifferently. "Oh psh. I have plenty of plants already, you'd be helping me out by taking one!"
-
Aiden chuckled, nodding. ``Could we maybe dry off? I'm freezing.``
-
Julia's face turned red. How could she have forgotten? "Right!" she said, turning briskly around and continuing her search. She returned with two long gray towels, placing one on Aiden's shoulder before draping the other on her head.
-
Aiden took the towel and started drying himself off, wrapping the dry cloth around his cold, wet self.
