Julia turned herself into a towel burrito as it started to rain outside. She groaned. "It's starting to get pretty heavy. Do you think it'll end soon?"
-
Aiden shrugged, drying off his hair. ``I hope it does clear up soon. Not that I don't mind the rain, I just really want to get out of these wet clothes.`` He chuckled, wrapping himself up in the towel again.
-
"I have some clothes for guys somewhere," Julia said, before her cheeks turned red. "Not because of...they're for when my brother visits, I swear."
-
``Got it,`` Aiden said with a chuckle, nodding.
-
Julia left and returned with a small pile of clothes, dumping them on the couch. "The guest bathroom is over that way," she said, tilting her head in its direction. "I'll be in the other one if you need me."
-
Aiden nodded and grabbed the clothes, walking over to the guest bathroom and changing into the dry clothes. Once he finished, he walked out, waiting for Julia.
-
Julia walked out of the bathroom with dry clothes on, patting her hair dry after washing it. She felt fresh and clean as she flopped onto her couch with a contented sigh.
-
Aiden walked over to Julia, sitting down beside her on the couch. ``So, what should we do while we wait for the rain to clear up?``
-
"That's a good question," Julia said, kicking her good leg like a child. "Maybe we could watch a movie?"
-
"Sure," Aiden agreed, crossing his legs. "Quetion is, what movie?"
-
"Oh no," Julia said with a groan, opening Netflix. "I'm horribly indecisive. You pick."
-
``Sure,`` Aiden said with a chuckle, grabbing the remote. ``What genre? Mystery, comedy, action? Ooh, I love me a good rom com.``
-
"Rom com it is!" Julia said with a smirk, flicking through the different movies available. "Ah, this looks like a good one. Do you like popcorn?"
-
``Duh, who doesn't?`` Aiden said with a chuckle, looking around for a moment before spotting a blanket. He smiled and reached for it, pulling it over him and wrapping it around his shoulders.
-
Julia left to make some popcorn, leaving Aiden alone with her assortment of plants and coolly colored choices of décor. A few wind chimes tinkled serenely outside of her house as the rain pattered down. A frog let out a mighty croak and hopped about to do his business elsewhere.
