Error flinched slightly when they suddenly spoke to him, causing the short chain on his collar to rattle a little from the motion before he slowly looked at his bread

Jessie felt guilty for alarming Error and decided that the best way to apologize was to help him with his bread. They put the bread in Error's hand and dipped it into the soup.

Error let them help him, feeling really confused

Jessie nodded. "Go on! It's good," they said, having already drained their entire bowl.

Error hesitantly nibbled on the bread

Jessie made a small chirp of happiness like a bird, fluttering their tattered wings happily.

Error blinked at her in confusion

Jessie looked sheepish. "Ah, sorry. I just do that sometimes when I get excited. I won't do it again!"

"Why?" He asked in confusion, not understanding

"Because," Jessie said, now confused as well. "Because it's weird."

"No, why are you excited " he clarified

"Oh! It's because you're eating well? I think?" Jessie said. "Not sure."

Error still appeared confused but nodded

"It's a lot warmer in here than outside," Jessie said, a few of their feathers fluttering down as they moved, earning them more looks. "Maybe we should stay here for the night?"

He shrugged a little "thats up to you" the broken angel said quietly
