Cade looked down. “I don’t know why I betrayed you. I think it was because it was my job, but that’s a sucky excuse. I’m sorry. I became friends with you because you were kind to me. And after a while of knowing you, I started to gain...” Cade trailed off -
Natalia looked at him as if she were waiting for him to continue.

Cade regained his voice, though it was trembling. “I started to gain feelings for you...” he said

She blinked. Her voice was soft as she said, "I have too."

Cade green eyes shot up to look at Natalia. “W-what?”

She nodded.

Cade slowly stepped closer to Natalia. His heart was pounding. She loved him back? Cade’s green gaze dropped down her lips before he looked back up to stare into her eyes. -
Natalia looked up into his eyes like emeralds. Her stomach was aflutter and she was almost positive Cade could hear her heart thumping within her chest.

Cade stepped closer to Natalia. “Nat...” was what he whispered before taking her chin in his hand, leaning in, and softly placing his lips on hers.

Natalia could feel the blood rushing to her face. She placed her hands on his chest as she kissed him back.

Cade felt elation going his chest like oxygen filling a balloon when Natalia kissed him back. He continued to kiss her as his face grew hotter. -
Oh man his kisses were amazing. Natalia never wanted this moment to end.
