She nodded. "They do send assignments in places they don't have bases, but it's very rare. Let's just say we won't be able to set foot in America again." -
Cade nodded. “If it keeps you safe, I don’t care.”

"But how are we going to get out of the country?" Natalia murmured to herself.

“We can use my friend’s private jet,” Cade suggested. “He became rich after winning the lottery and I bet he’ll be glad to give us a ride. He knows our situation I believe.”

"How does he know our situation?" she asked, a little confused.

“Oh wait- he doesn’t. But I know that if I told him he’d understand.”

"Just be like, "Oh, hey, I need to smuggle an assassin out of the country, could you help?"

Cade paused. He couldn’t exactly explain how his friend would understand, but he had the gut feeling he would if he maybe explained the details of the situation to him? Cade shook his head. He didn’t know.

"I'd also have to get a change of clothes," she said. "I can't be looking like a prisoner."

“Yeah I know.” Cade said. “My friend could probably pick up an outfit for you.”

She nodded. "I appreciate it," she said.

Cade nodded at her and smiled. He then took out his phone and dialed in his friend’s phone number and waited for him to answer. He didn’t. Cade called him again. No answer.

"What's wrong, do you think?" Natalia asked.

Cade shook his head. "I don't know," he mumbled before sitting down and running a hand through his soft, bitter chocolate hair. He glanced up at Natalia. "What time is it?" He asked.

"They took my watch," she said. "You should have a clock on your phone."
