The father explained the situation to Porak. “So you see, my daughter needs a bodyguard.” He said, without mentioning his daughters name.
Porak seemed a little uncertain about this. It sounded like the exact same story that had befallen a girl at his school, he just could not remember her name though. “I’ll take the job.” He said after a few moments of silence. -
Cassie heard her father hang up the phone after a few words of gratitude and a goodbye.
Porak had accepted the offer.
How was this going to turn put for her? -
*out

A few hours after school, Porak showed up at the door.
“Greetings!” Cassandra’s father exclaimed with a cheerful look in his eye.
Porak grimaced and have the man a little wave. Cassandra’s father brought Porak inside and called for Cassandra to come down. -
(Ay I finally figured out if her parents are human or not.
She's adopted, her birth parents were human, but the ones she has now aren't)
Cassie peeked down the stairs at the vampire. She then slowly walked down the stairwell.
"Come say hello," her mom said. "Get acquainted."
"We already know each other well enough," Cassie muttered. -
(Oooo sounds fascinating :0)
Poraks eyes widened at the sight of Cassandra. “I-I, this is he-r-r?” He stammered, looking quite paler than usual. -
"Yes," Cassie's mom said.
"Does he have to guard me all the time?" she asked. She was desperately hoping the answer was a no. "Like right now, I'm in my own house, I don't need protection." -
Cassie’s father sighed and narrowed his eyes at Cassandra. “Yes he does, he will be your bodyguard from now own.” He said.
-
"But I don't need one in my own house!" Cassie said. "I have you guys to protect me. And if you're worried about when you're not home while I am, have I ever been attacked here?"
-
“You haven’t been attacked yet. And after what happened today, I can’t trust that you won’t get hurt.” Her father said with a little bit of pain in his voice.
-
"So let me guess, he's going to be sleeping here too," she said, throwing her hands up in exasperation.
-
Cassandra’s fathers face brightened. “Well, we do have that guest bedroom.” He said.
-
"No way," Cassie said. She looked at Porak. She could tell that he didn't really want this either. "You three can discuss this. I'm going to get something to eat." Preferably something with a lot of iron in it.
-
Porak gave Cassandra a pleading look. “Take me with you.” He groaned.
“Hm, that sounds like a good idea. Maybe he should stay here.” Cassie’s father said. -
"You do realize he has his own life, right?" Cassie.said. she walked into the kitchen and stuck some leftover green beans in the microwave then came out a little later.
