Cassandra's back was now against the backboard. "You know what.

Porak's face was filled with amusement. "What?"

Cassie was glaring at him. "Whatever you're trying to do right now," she said. She stuffed her pillow in Porak's face. "Stop it."

"Oooo a pillow fight." he said, taking a pillow and hitting Cassie with it.

Cassie blocked it with her arm then glared at Porak showing she did not appreciate it. She was struggling to keep herself from punching him.

Porak laughed and shoved a pillow in Cassandras face.

Cassandra got off the bed and walked out of the room.

Porak sat there, a little disappointed that his pillow fight didn't resume.

Cassandra sat at the kitchen table and finished her food. She hadn't known what Porak had been about to do, but she knew she wouldn't have liked it.

Her dad walked in."So? How was Porak. Did you get to know him?" he asked.

"Like I said before, I already know him well enough," Cassie muttered.

"Really? Well then. He is fully qualified to be your bodyguard then." he said.

"I don't need a bodyguard," she said stubbornly.

"Look at you. You got bitten by a vampire." he said.

"And I'm recovering," Cassandra said. "I just have to eat a lot of iron."
