“Yes, I’ve been trying to forget that.” She said as a chill went down her spine just thinking about it.

"Lucifer was there," Adrian said. "He made me feel like I did when I would kill for him. I can still hear his whispers at night sometimes. I'm afraid. I'm afraid I'm going to do to Claire what I did to you."

Jewel gave Adrian a sympathetic look. “Adrian, even if you do try to kill me, I would know you wouldn’t have meant it. Plus, I could stop you.” She said.

"Technically I would have meant to do it," Adrian said. "I was the one that accepted Lucifer's terms. I was the one with the knife in my hand. I killed them and I'm scared he'll try to have me kill you too." -
“I meant deep down.” Jewel said. “Either way, I don’t think your a monster. I love you the way you are.” She said with a slight smile.

"Thank you," Adrian whispered.

“Your welcome, I’m always here if you need me.” Jewel said as she put her head on Adrian.

Adrian wrapped an arm around her. He was glad he was stuck with her.

“Thank you for telling me what was bothering you.” Jewel whispered.

"I never told you because I thought you would hate me if you found out," Adrian said.

“I could never hate you!” Jewel exclaimed.

"I didn't know that then," Adrian said.

“You better not ever think that again.” Jewel grumbled.

"I won't," Adrian promised.
