(You push down a handle to open doors?)
"Good to know," Sophia said, watching intently. -
Well you said handle instead of knob, so I made some assumptions and appear to be horribly off what you were expecting lol))
Pat jumped at Sophia, standing on his hind legs and supported himself on her knees, yipping impatiently. -
(She's never seen a knob. To her it's a handle)
"What does he want?" she asked, looking up at Christmas. -
Ah))
"He wants to be fed," Christmas said with a sigh, walking over to the kitchen and opening the bag of dog food. Pat skittered off, his little claws making clicking noises on the floor. -
"But he didn't say anything," Sophia said. "How did you know?"
-
"There are ways to express yourself other than words," Christmas said sagely, scooping the kibbles into the dog's bowl.
-
Sophia nodded. She understood. "What will we do today?" she asked.
-
Christmas was about to say "Whatever you'd like" and then remembered that she would have no idea. "I can introduce you to the neighbors," he said with a smile. "Mrs. Rhubarb always welcomes a guest."
-
"Okay," Sophia said with a nod. That sounded fun.

I'm so soree ;_;))
"Firstly though, we should eat," Christmas said. "I'll make us some breakfast and you can go on and meander around the house for a while." -
"Okay," Sophia said and walked off to do some exploring.
(Uh-oh lol) -
Lol ~investigation time~))
Pat skittered after her, having eaten his fill of kibble. He usually liked to hang around Christmas for any tasty hand-outs, but he wanted to see where this strange human was going. Christmas got some eggs and sausages going. -
Sophia wandered through the house, just observing. Then she decided to investigate further on what things actually did.
She walked into the bedroom she had been in before. There had been a box with numbers and buttons on it that interested her. And the number on the front of it would regularly change too.
Sophia picked it up and pressed one of the buttons. She gave a shout of surprise as voices started coming out of it. and she dropped it. She picked it up again, trying to figure out which button turned it off. She pressed another few. Now the talking was gone but there was a ghastly blaring sound coming out of it and the numbers were flashing.
