Thread Topic: Help I need to RP

(Okay, so your character should be on their way to finding the city these elves live in. My character should be doing patrols of the city.)
Laucian looked around the outskirts of Eldonia to see if any creatures were any where near the city. His patrol took him to a strange place this time as he began to wander further and further away from the city and into some forbidden territory. Who knew what was here but he didn't worry too much. What's the worse that could be out there? -
(Alright)
Rasia went into a cave and started looking through it. She was beginning to lose hope she'd ever find it. She'd been into nearly every cave she could imagine, going in as far as possible, looking for possible hidden doors, secret passageways, and so on. She knew the entrance had to be in a cave. At least that's what the legend had said. She walked in deeper and deeper into it, keeping her eyes open for anything. Absolutely anything. -
Laucian kept looking until he reached the near boundary of the city. No one quite knew if anything was on the surface anymore as no one has been able to reach the city for several centuries. Some elders referred to these surface dwellers as humans but most think they went extinct. Laucian just stood there, wondering who could truly be up there now, if anything.

Rasia kept wandering through caverns and tunnels, going deeper and deeper in. After a long time, she decided to turn back. There was nothing down here. She walked one way, hoping that it would be the way out. But after awhile, still, nothing looked familiar. She tried a different way, but the same result came out. She was just going farther and farther in the cave. It was then that she realized that she was totally and utterly lost.

Laucian looked up and realized there was a hole in the cave ceiling. Not large enough for anything on the surface to fall through but large enough to see from his position. He figured this was his chance to see if anything was on the surface and he started to climb the wall.

Rasia wondered if she should stop and wait, or keep on trying to find a way out. But no one knew she was in there. There was nothing to wait for. She had to try and get out before she starved to death. She just realized that starvation was a possibility. She had a water bottle, but how long would that last. She had a bit of food in her bag, but how long would that last? Rasia sighed and kept on walking.

Laucian climbed all the way up to the hole and crawled into it. He noticed that the surface looked like home, but with less light. He did thankfully have his lantern so he turned that on to see if anyone or anything was here.

Rasia thought she saw a light in the distance. Could it possibly be a way out of here? Light meant an opening in the rock wall, which meant out. She started walking towards the light, hoping it was.
(Do humans in here have the same knowledge that we do about elves, or do they have a very limited or nonexistent knowledge?) -
(It's limited. Most of what anyone in this universe knows about elves is the Christmas kind. There are no fantasy elves like in Dungeons & Dragons or Lord of the Rings.)
Laucian thought he heard footsteps and looked in the direction of the sound. He kept thinking about what it could be so he began walking to it. -

Rasia saw that the light was coming towards her at a faster pace than it should be. She stopped walking. It kept coming closer to her. And it wasn't a daylight kind of light, it was more like a fiery glow. She stayed where she was. What was this? -
Laucian couldn't hear the footsteps anymore and thought he should stop. But he kept walking to see if whatever was walking would still be there.

Rasia was able to hear footsteps. There was another person in here. That light was a lantern. She started walking in that direction again.

Laucian heard the steps again and kept walking until he saw the silhouette of someone in the darkness. He said "Hello, who is there?"

"My name is Rasia," she answered him. "Who are you?"

"I am Laucian, royal guard. I can't see you, do you have a lantern?" he said.
